Multi-Currency

Log expenses in any currency — Tabello handles the conversion.

Reporting Currency vs. Expense Currency

Every tracker has a reporting currency set at creation. This cannot be changed afterward. Individual expenses can be logged in any of 150+ currencies — Tabello handles the conversion. Automatic exchange rates are available for the 30 currencies listed below; for all others, you enter the rate manually. All balances and the settle-up plan are calculated and displayed in the reporting currency.

Exchange Rates

When you add an expense in a different currency, Tabello suggests an exchange rate for common currencies. Rates are daily reference rates published by the European Central Bank — not live market rates. You can adjust the suggested rate before saving.

For currencies where no rate is suggested, enter it manually. The rate is fixed at save time and doesn't change afterward.

Supported currencies

USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CHF, CAD, AUD, NZD, SEK, NOK, DKK, PLN, CZK, HUF, RON, BGN, ISK, TRY, BRL, MXN, CNY, HKD, SGD, KRW, IDR, INR, MYR, PHP, THB, ZAR

Viewing in a Different Currency

You can display any tracker's balances and expenses in a currency other than its reporting currency, provided it's one of the supported currencies. The exchange rate is refreshed daily and shown in the app. This is for reference only — the rate cannot be adjusted.
